Australian Accomplishments

Johnny Buckley
Johnny put in a huge effort to place 3rd in his age group in the recent Kingscliff Tri in Northern NSW.
From all reports Johnny had the disc on his TTQC-29 which wound up flying past anyone who dared stand in his way! Johnny is focused on the QTS series and is keen to take the title!

 Luke Henry

The first race of the NQ Triathlon season started with a WIN for Luke in the Bawagawion Tri Mackay. Following this Luke placed 1st in his age group at the Airlie Beach Tri, which placed him 5th overall. This race saw Luke going up against 3 professional athletes, which was great step up and an awesome experience!
Luke also helped out with junior event prior to the race and providing assistance to the visually impaired 9 year old around the course, which is very impressive.
Friday the 16th Luke took out the Schools Tri in Townsville and backed up the next day to come 3rd in his age group in the Townsville Sprint Distance Tri.

Steve Rooney
GUESS WHAT! Steven “Rooster” Rooney is returning to Gold Coast Triathlete!
On the 3rd of October Rooster is set to make a return to join the team at GCT to give Noel a hand as he prepares to roll out a new Triathlon coaching clinic which will be run from GCT.

While Steve gets settled into his new role he will continue to train and continues to race in the Rhino series on the Gold Coast.
