Team Trigon

Courtney Gilfillan
Courtney is the newest addition to our Team.
Courtney is now training under Craig Walton so we are excited about what the future holds for her. The 2012 season kicks off in February at the Australian Sprint Championships so keep an eye out for Courtney at the front of the pack!

Emma Conman-Jeffries
Since her amazing efforts last month competing in the Open divisions for her first time, Emma has been training and competing with consistent results. In Race 2 of the QLD Triathlon series Emma placed 6th in the Open division. This weekend is Race 3 and we are anticipating her results are just as impressive. The following week Emma will be going to Canberra for the ACT Olympic distance championships, which is the first qualifying race for the Australian team to compete in New Zealand next year. Best of luck this month Emma we are very proud of you!

Keira Pride
Unfortunately, due to injury Keira’s racing has been quiet the past months. However, this has not stopped her from working toward next year’s races! Keira is now almost back to full running and has transitioned into a building phase to best prepare her for 2012. Keira will be on the Gold Coast training for the next week then in Adelaide just before Christmas. We wish Keira the best of health from now on and look forward to her coming back even stronger than before!

Luke Henry
This month has been quiet for Luke in the racing department. But despite this, he has taken the initiative to better himself as an athlete and undergone a youth emerging talent camp. Luke says this was a great experience in learning how to improve each discipline whether it is technique or lactic threshold. Luke’s first race for his season is the Runaway Super Sprint weekend on 16th December. Keep up the great work Luke!

James Moffat
James has been very busy this month training with the State Junior Endurance squad for U17’s and ramping up for the rest of the track season- in particular, the State Championships at the end of January. James has been racing crits with constant improvement, notably coming 6th in the Glenvale D Grade Criterium after a race long breakaway of 10.
