Trigon In Canada
Reece Emerson Van Beck was recently in Canada for the World Deaf Cycling Championship. Reece is a supporter of Trigon Bicycles Australia and snapped these images for us of his fellow competitor, Brandon Fisher on the TTQC29 time trial bike. Brandon's father is a distributor for Trigon in Canada. They both obviously have great taste in his bicycles and we wish them all the best!
And thanks Reece for the great information and images..

TRIGON MEETS ALTITUDE TRAINING
In the past year Trigon has developed affiliations and support from local companies and people who share the same passion for cycling, Triathlon and excellence.
WHAT IS ALTITUDE TRAINING?
Exercising in oxygen reduced air.
WHY ALTITUDE TRAINING WORKS!
When the human body is exposed to hypoxia (oxygen reduced environments), it struggles to produce required amounts of energy with less available oxygen. This struggle triggers the onset of a range of physiological adaptations geared towards enhancing the efficiency of the body’s respiratory, cardiovascular and oxygen utilization systems.
MAJOR BENEFITS FROM ALTITUDE TRAINING
√ Improved aerobic performance
√ Increased metabolic rate and calorie burn
√ Improved oxygen utilisation
√ Time efficient training
√ Improved physiological function

We recently lent an RCC11 to Noel Phillips of Gold Coast Triathlete to test and give his opinion of how the bike stacks up against the rest of the Trigon range and the competitors...Sunday Morning Test Ride – RCC11 Entry Level Trigon Noel Phillips
Noel Phillips, Gold Coast Triathlete.
“Having ridden lots of bikes of various qualities over the years, I was very surprised when I was given the opportunity to ride a RCC11, just how good this would be.
After putting it together on Saturday afternoon, I expected the bike to be perhaps not quite as responsive and fast as I found out on Sunday. The bike is lively, moves in a straightforward direction when applying pressure to the pedals and me being 90kg was impressed that the bike has very little sideways movement if any. The bike descends like a bike twice the price and I could recommend this bike to anyone who is on a budget of around the $2,500 mark. I can only imagine that the bikes above this in the Trigon range would be equal to anything in the marketplace, as this bike left a lasting impression. So much so, that I bought it off Trigon to use myself.
PS. the bike carries SRAM Apex components, which did not miss a beat!”

TRIGON TEAM GOING STRONG!
It has been a good month overall for our Trigon Team Riders.
Emma Conman Jeffries placed 3rd female overall in Fusion Games, 1st Under 25s female in the Queensland State Duathlon Championships (6th overall) and 3rd Under 25s female in the Ipswich Park to Park (8th female overall). Since Emma has undertaken Brisbane 10km and the Wivenhoe Tri on this Sunday. Results to come next month!
Steven Rooney was unfortunately sick for the majority of the month. Nevertheless Steve finished 3rd at Murwillumbah and a few top 10 finishes. He also finished 12th at the Cunningham Classic on the 6th August. The Rhino Team Series is underway with Steve's team currently sitting 2nd overall in the 8 race series.
Keira Pride had her first race back in 15 months at Banyoles European Cup, where she placed 16th. This race was not a reflection of Keira's full potential but nevertheless a good starting point for Keira to ease her way back into competition. Keira is off the Czech Republic (Karlovy Vary) August 21st where we all have high expectations for her races to come!
NEW RECRUIT!!!
We are pleased to introduce Luke Henry as the newest recruit to the Trigon Team.
With already an extremely extensive array of awards and achievements at the age of 16 we have high hopes for him.
Presently training under Col Stewart, Luke’s objective is to improve his triathlon skills and participate in as many events as possible. With the help of Trigon, we know Luke will achieve everything he aspires to!

New Kids On the Block
Being an up & coming brand it is always hard to break into an existing and well established market...
So here's a few reasons why you should believe in Trigon!
For those that don't know, Trigon is Taiwanese made ... and proud of it!
Trigon Background
After 15 years of manufacturing experience, Trigon has the knowledge, knowhow and ability to make the best carbon products in the world. They were one of the pioneers in the carbon cycling industry. Through this experience making for other companies and for themselves, they have mastered the skills required to bring NEW, INNOVATIVE products to the end users.
Trigon prides itself on its quality of product and in house abilities. Not many companies can tell you that they do the design, production, testing and even painting in one factory. Nor do many of our competitors actually manufacture by themselves. This advantage allows Trigon to be on the cutting edge of design and production technology to directly meet the market needs.
Trigon has sourced the best carbon in the world. Then they have taken their knowledge of the properties of each weave, Its strengths and weakness and has been able to choose the best carbon layup for their frames and components. The 4 different carbon choices of Trigon have been carefully selected and Trigon has found a unique, strong resin that has helped aid the creation of the strong, unique and light products that Trigon is known for producing.
All carbon components are hand wrapped, so the details of production and layup are crucial. Trigon has mastered how to reduce the weight and increase the strength of products by the use of proper carbon layup.
Testing
From manufacture to testing, the results and process have all been positive.
Our recently reviewed top selling 2010 models, RQC29 and TTQC29 were given 4.5 out of 5 each. Please click the links to read the reviews yourself!
